tricked!

Whenever I look at the scar on my brother, Georgie’s forehead a deep sense of remorse pierced through my heart. This was what happened on that fateful day…..
Georgie, who is a sturdy boy, has an adorable face, which was well balanced with two deep dimples. Although he is a mischievous, he is well liked by many people but I think otherwise. I find him a pain in the neck and his presence is a nuisance to me. That day, even broke the robot elephant which I had to submit for a robotics competition. A strong desire for vengeance struck my mind. It’s high time for me to teach him a lesson. The next morning, I invited him to go for cycling at the park near our house. He was elated to hear this and he was unaware that the brake on his cycle had been tempered by me the last night while he was sleeping like a dog. When we reached the park, I challenged him to a race and he agreed without any hesitation. I was overjoyed that he fell or my trick. “Catch me if you can, you slow tortoise!” shouted Georgie who was in the lead shortly after the race started. Georgie’s happiness did not last when he came to a slope. As he was riding down the slope, he tried to slow but realized that the brake was not working. He looked so horrified that I burst out laughing, “Hah, you fell for my trick!” In a split second, his bike collided into a tree. He was flung one meter away and landed on a pavement with serious head injuries. When I rushed to him, he muttered, “I will tell mum….”before he passed out.
He was rushed to the hospital and had three stitches on his forehead to close up the wound. I was severely reprimanded by my parents and I was banned from favorite television show for one week.
